It’s a decentralized ecosystem where users can easily connect an unlimited number of markets and add-ons. Anyone can create and share their own market or add-on. You can use what the EMET Community has built, connect third-party solutions (like Stremio markets and add-ons), or make your own, share them, and even earn rewards.

Where to Get Them?

EMET Surf is designed so that what you need is always just a couple of clicks away.

How to Connect?

Connecting markets and add-ons in EMET Surf is as simple as possible.

1. Already have a link or code for a market/add-on?

• Go to the “Add-on Catalog”.
• Click “+ Add” (top panel or side menu).
• Choose a connection method:
  • Enter a URL or IPFS address (with convenient remote input from your smartphone).
  • Enter a short code.
• Confirm — and the add-ons will instantly appear in your Catalog.

2. Adding Stremio Markets and Add-ons:

• Open a new tab in EMET Surf or go to the search tab → “Add-ons” section.

• Enter either:

  • A market or add-on URL in the format stremio://… (e.g. stremio://stremio-addons.com/manifest.json; stremio://stackflux867.github.io/manifest.json), or
  • A web address for the market (e.g. https://stremio-addons.com/manifest.json; https://stackflux867.github.io/manifest.json).

• Click “Add/Connect” — the market and/or add-on will automatically appear in your Catalog.

3. Connecting/Disconnecting Add-ons

• In the Catalog, open the add-on’s release page.
• Click “Connect” or “Disconnect”.
• Some add-ons have their own settings menu — use it for configuration.

• Ask other EMET Surf users for a promo code with the markets and add-ons you want.
• Enter the promo code in the configuration settings — everything will connect and configure automatically.

The Add-on Catalog brings together all sources, services, and utilities in one place. It helps you quickly find, connect, and manage add-ons in a convenient structure.

  • Active — add-ons you’ve already connected/are using.
  • EMET Pass — exclusive add-ons for EMET Pass subscribers (see the “EMET Pass” section for details).
  • Free — available to all users.
  • Paid — with individual subscriptions or direct payments to the add-on creator.

• “+ Add” button — add markets and/or individual add-ons.

• “Interface View” button — switch catalog appearance (stylish/classic).
