Remote Media Control and Convenient Text Input

EMET Surf allows you to search, type, and control content on your TV directly through a web browser on any of your devices — no need to install additional apps. Experience maximum comfort with this unique feature, making TV interaction truly simple and convenient.

Convenient text input from any device

Forget about awkward typing with the TV remote or connecting external keyboards — enter text in your usual and convenient way using a smartphone, tablet, or computer.

How does it work?

1. In the text input field, select "QR Code" instead of the system keyboard, voice input, or AI assistant.
2. Scan the QR code with your mobile device or use the link by entering the provided PIN code on the page connect.emet.live.
3. A page with a text input field will open in your device’s browser.
4. Simply type your text — it will instantly appear on the TV screen.

Content search and media library management

With EMET Surf, you can search for content, navigate, start playback, and control it directly from your smartphone, tablet, or PC — no need to use the TV remote.

What is available on the remote device?

• Full-featured search page.
• Navigation through all Discover sections with full control.
• Quick content sending and one-click playback on TV.

How does it work?

For media search:

1. On EMET Surf on TV, open Search.
2. In the search bar menu, select "QR Code".
3. Scan the QR code with your mobile device or enter the provided PIN code at connect.emet.live.
4. A search page will open in your device’s browser, where you can:
   • Search for content
   • Go to the release page
   • Start playback on TV
5. When you find the content you want, click "Send to TV" — it will immediately appear on the screen.

For navigation and control in Discover:

1. On the TV screen, in the top menu of any Discover section, click "Send to remote device".
2. Scan the QR code with your mobile device or enter the provided PIN code at connect.emet.live.
3. In your device’s browser, the same Discover section open on the TV will appear.
4. Continue navigation and control content directly from your device.
5. To return the interface to TV and resume remote control with the TV remote, click "Send to TV".

Additional feature:

Besides sending playback to TV, you can play video and audio directly on your remote device in any player you prefer.

• When starting playback on the remote device, you will get the choice:
  ▶ "Play on TV" or "Play on this device".

Important! Make sure your Android TV and other device (phone, tablet, PC) are connected to the same WiFi network. This is required for proper synchronization.
