When you first launch EMET Surf, a setup wizard will open to help you quickly prepare the app for use.
Choose the primary language for the app interface. It will also be used as the preferred language for content descriptions.
💡 Important: Later you can change this setting and assign different languages for specific sections of “Discover”.
Creating an EMET account (optional) – for additional features
An EMET account means membership in the EMET community and the ability to earn rewards through the EMET Rewards program. It also allows you to sync data across devices and use premium services available for purchase on Google Play Store.
If you don’t need this, skip the step and simply create a profile for personalization:
✔ Enter a name/profile name.
✔ (Optional) Set a PIN code to restrict others from accessing the content you view.
Enter and activate a promo code to unlock additional features.
Ways to enter promo codes
🔹 Short code – a shortened version of an IPFS code, generated via central servers for maximum convenience. It consists of just a few digits for quick entry.
🔹 IPFS address – a link to the promo code in IPFS (with the option to conveniently enter such a code on your TV through a web browser on any device).
What can a promo code provide?
✅ A discount on purchasing EMET Pass and other premium services.
✅ Automatic interface and app configuration settings.
✅ Automatic installation of new add-ons and their configurations.
💡 Before applying configuration codes from a promo code, you’ll be able to preview the changes to the interface and see the list of add-ons that will be automatically connected.
